It has ultra high strength, hardness, excellent fatigue strength, and good machinability, ideal for injection molding, extrusion tools, die casting tools, etc. Tool steel metal is a versatile material that is well-suited for making tools. It is a particularly hard material that withstands heat and resists abrasion.
